Gwyneth Paltro and Chris Martin chose an area about two miles from the Gallucci Villa to have their honeymoon on December 14th 2003. The destination was the same one where Jaqueline and John F. Kennedy honeymooned.

In October of 2003 Brad Pitt shot the Movie "Troy, in and around the tourist area of Cabo San Lucas. Warner Brothers injected over 25 million into the Cabo San Lucas area while the movie was shot, and employed over 700 extras.

On April 9th 2004 John Travolta's wife Kelly Preston threw him a surprise 50th Birthday in Cabo San Lucas. Barbara Streisand and Oprah Winfrey were in attendance.

Red Rocker Sammy Haggar has an Oceanside compound about 10 minutes south of Casa Gallucci. In addition to making his home in Cabo San Lucas, Sammy has a bar called the Cabo Wabo Cantina in the downtown area. Several rock stars such as Michael Anthony, Slash, Brett Michaels, and Flea from the "Red Hot Chili Peppers" show up unannounced to jam with Sammy. The annual Cabo Wabo Meltdown is held in October, which is centered around Sammy's Birthday Party. Several live performances are scheduled and the tickets go fast.
