All Terrain Vehicles or ATV's can be rented all over Cabo San Lucas. Several of these companies operate along the highway between San Jose Del Cabo and Downtown Cabo San Lucas. We have rented through diffent companies, and all have provided ATV's in good condition. Our recommendation is take a guided tour. Guided tours can range from 1 to 4 hours. The most popular trips will take you through the high desert or along deserted beaches. Our favorite is the Lighthouse tour. If you go to Cabo San Lucas and don't do the ATV Tour to the lighthouse…you haven't been to Cabo. Pricing depends on length of ride, single or double riders, and locations visited. We have seen guided trips for as low as $40.00 for single rides and as high as $75.00. Remember people in Cabo who shop around a little will usually be rewarded by more competitive pricing.
Another of our favorite ATV tours is Desert Park This is for people who are looking for a new way to explore Cabo San Lucas. If you want to learn a little about the unique plants and animals that live here in Baja Desert Park is for you. Desert Park is located within the borders of the Cabo Real Private Natural Reserve.
As you glide through the desert with comfort and ease on a state-of-the-art Honda ATV, you will be guided by an experienced naturalist through 3,300 acres of the most breath- taking scenery you will encounter during your stay in Los Cabos. The Desert Park experience is far more than an off-road excursion, it is a virtual reality history lesson on wheels. The cost of this this three hour tour is $60.00 for a single rider, or if our honeymooners choose to ride together it will cost $80.00.
If you haven't ridden an ATV before… Don't be concerned. ATV's are safe and easy to drive, and the Desert Park staff will show you the ropes on their short training course.
Desert Park's menu consists of the 3-hour arroyo excursion and the 5-hour lunch safari. Both tours will send you through awesome canyons and provide panoramic views of the desert, with the Sea of Cortez as a backdrop. Don't forget your camera, there will be plenty of opportunities for photos.
Desert Park provides all safety equipment needed for the ride. This includes a helmet, goggles and a scarf to keep the dust out of your face. It is recommended that you wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt and closed toed shoes. Our recommendation is to bring a lot of suncreen. To make reservations from the United States dial 011-52-624-14-40030 and tell them Casa Gallucci sent you… Be Safe and have Fun.
