The #1 long-weekend surfing destination for Californians is the tip of the Baja Peninsula located minutes from Casa Gallucci. The primary spot that surfers from all over the world flock to is around San Jose Del Cabo. The famous line-up off Costa Azul, includes two breaks. These two world class breaks are referred to as the "The Rock" and "Zippers". The surfing is best in late summer to early fall.

Surfers can find any gear needed in downtown San Jose del Cabo at the "Killer Hook Surf Shop". This surf shop features well known companies such as Quiksilver, Volcom and Roxy.
