Whether you're strolling down the street and decide to look for a few souvenirs to take home or you're primary source of enjoyment is purchasing things for you and your home, there is something for every type of shopper in Cabo San Lucas. There are a large number of stores in a small area, so wear comfortable shoes.
Cabo is very proud of their biggest and newest shopping area, Puerto Paraiso Entertainment Plaza. It's tailored to more upscale tastes. This enclosed three-story mall offers shopping, dining and entertainment options for everyone. Individual boutiques line the streets of Cabo and some of the things you can count on viewing are arts & crafts, apparel, furniture, interior decorations, jewelry, leather goods and classic souvenirs.

Exploring the galleries and viewing the local artists is very interesting. There are many talented people showing their works in Cabo.
It doesn't matter what your taste is, there's something for everyone. Forgot your swimsuit? Need a new outfit to go dancing in? No worries, there are plenty of places to find anything you need here. There are shops that carry locally designed clothing, those that carry all the brand names you are familiar with, and everything in between.
Leave a little room in your suitcase for those special finds. If furnishing your house is what you want to do, that's not a problem either. There is a distinct style to the furniture, one that I've seen in L.A. celebrity homes quite frequently. Shipping usually isn't a problem with bigger pieces. I really enjoy the brightly colored ceramic sinks and bath accessories for the home. There are so many other items that could incorporate a little of Mexico into your home.
Then there is the jewelry... wow! If you are indecisive you may run into a few problems. There really is a lot to choose from. Check out the Mexican fire opals if you want something unique. Diamonds and silver are two other popular requests.
Leather never goes out of style or wears out. Items that you'll find in the leather stores include backpacks, briefcases, purses, belts, and luggage.
It's never too early to do a little Christmas shopping. One thing that I found refreshing is that the people of Cabo seem to really enjoy tourists, so it's a pleasant experience to interact with them while you are shopping.
If you are up for it, you can definitely spend more than one day looking and acquiring. When you're in need of a taste of home you can always go to the Costco that just opened. All major credit cards are accepted in most places.
As if all that Cabo has to offer isn't enough, there is also San Jose Del Cabo. Each town has its own personality and San Jose is the quainter, more laid back of the two. There are fewer shops, but still a lot to see. You feel like you can take your time there, because there isn't as much ground to cover. The items you'll see are top quality and unique. Don't rule this great little town out, when deciding what to do.
